CALL MEETING TO ORDER: Chairperson Macro called the meeting to order at 7:30 pm
ROLL CALL
Members present: Chairperson Macro, Commissioner FitzPatrick
Members absent: Commissioner Pitcock, Commissioner Jennings, Commissioner Klein
Alternates present: Commissioner Evans, Commissioner Foley, Commissioner Taylor
Alternates absent: none
Commissioner Evans was sitting for Commissioner Pitcock. Commissioner Foley was sitting for Commissioner Klein. Commissioner Taylor was sitting for Commissioner Jennings.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
- Mr. John Habif, 1772 Main Street, outlined the proposed repairs to the flat porch roof he had referenced in his letter to the Commission dated June 30, 2011.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
- Motion by Commissioner FitzPatrick, seconded by Commissioner Taylor was made to approve the minutes of the Public Hearing and the Regular Meeting held on April 5, 2011. The motion carried unanimously.
- Motion by Commissioner FitzPatrick, seconded by Commissioner Macro was made to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held on June 7, 2011. The motion carried unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS:
- The repairs to Mr. John Habif’s porch roof were discussed and it was agreed that this is a repair and does not require a COA.
OLD BUSINESS:
- Review of Demolition Process forms was postponed. Demolition Delay Ordinance to be modified probably after elections.
- Commissioner Evans moved that Chairperson Macro submit an application to the Commission on Culture and Tourism for the remaining 60+ properties, at the rate of a $140/property, for Phase III of the Historic Resources Inventory, plus printing expenses, seconded by Commissioner Taylor. The motion carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT:
Commissioner Evans moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:03 pm; seconded by Commissioner Taylor. The motion carried unanimously.
